How to Use?

STEP 1: Use a clean, wide-mouth mason jar. (Please note that the sprouting lids are designed to fit 86mm wide-mouth mason jars, not regular or standard-mouth jars.) Add the beans and fill the mason jar with cool, clean water.

STEP 2: Soak the beans for 8-12 hours at room temperature. In the morning, strain off the water with the sprouting lid. Rinse well with filtered water and drain again.

STEP 3: Place the jar away from sunlight, upside-down at an angle. Repeat the process of draining the water through the sprouting lids at least twice a day. The whole process can take 2-5 days.

STEP 4: Let the sprouts grow to about an inch. Lentils, mung beans, chickpeas, and adzuki are good at about a half-inch.
